Tailgate Fest

On Saturday, November 21, local Penn Staters, students, and friends will gather at Penn State Great Valley to watch the Penn State Nittany Lions take on the Michigan State Spartans. All activities will take place at the Safeguard Scientifics Building and the game will be broadcast on a 30-foot screen in the Warren V. Musser Auditorium.

Guests can enjoy a variety of tailgate-style food for kids and adults, Creamery ice-cream, and refreshments including beer and wine.

Activities include a photo opportunity with the Nittany Lion mascot, a “Kid Zone” play area, and a silent auction with numerous items including a signed Joe Paterno football, Penn State prints, sports team ticket packages, restaurant/retail gift baskets, and more.

Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for kids 4-10 years-old, and free for kids 3 and under. All proceeds benefit the Penn State Great Valley Alumni Achievement Scholarship, which provides support for Penn State Great Valley students. A small donation will also be made to THON, the Penn State, student-run program that raises funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer.
