First Annual SERC Conference Held at Penn State Great Valley

Penn State Great Valley hosted the first annual Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC) Conference on October 15 and 16. SERC’s mission is to enhance and enable the Department of Defense’s capability in systems engineering for the successful development, integration, testing, and sustainability of complex defense systems, services, and enterprises. This conference brought together the foremost systems engineering researchers in the country along with representatives from the DoD and NSA to discuss current and future engineering needs and research thrusts. Dr. Colin Neill, associate professor, software engineering, presented the systems engineering research of Penn State Great Valley. Additional Penn State Great Valley faculty who attended included Dr. James Nemes, event chair and engineering division head, Dr. Raghvinder Sangwan, Dr. Kathryn Jablokow, and Dr. Nil Ergin.
