This free Act 48 Workshop will feature H. Bernard Hall, assistant director, Writing Academy, Temple University, who will address using Hip-Hop as a cultural centerpiece to develop a student’s ability to effectively read, write, speak, listen, and promote critical thinking about music, art, and culture. The workshop will also examine how Hip-Hop develops and enhances literacy skills.
