Welcome to the Writing Center for the School of Graduate Professional Studies at Penn State Great Valley.
The ability to communicate effectively through writing is useful in all professions; in many, it is essential. The Writing Center exists to help students develop their written communication skills and to support faculty in their efforts to improve student writing.
What We Offer: One-to-one tutoring sessions, in-person and via email.
The Writing Center offers free one-to-one tutoring to all students currently enrolled in a graduate degree program. Tutoring is appropriate for students at any level of mastery with any academic writing concern.

Whether in-person or via email, students are limited to 2 tutorial consultations per week.
Beginning in Fall 2013, the Writing Center will hold free, periodic workshops around timely topics and trends in academic and business writing. See our Calendar of Events.
Many of your writing questions can be answered by consulting our free online resources. Hard copies of several of these resources are available in the Writing Center office. The reference librarian in our campus library can also provide information on documenting sources.
